It could be revived, if both developers & publishers would step up their efforts in many regards (first and foremost community management & keeping promises, i.e. Fishing Planet LLC is the developing studio and they are just as silent, which is far more concerning as the Publisher not caring about us. Also, everyone talks about Big Ben, when they are just the Publisher. DLC equipment needs to be repaired with Baitcoins though, which is not acceptable. Yes, The Fisherman is far superior to Fishing Planet economy & progression wise. In fact, they do exactly nothing with the game. This issue goes as far as needing to restart the game as the micro-stutters get more and more frequent and longer (up to 1-2 seconds of screen freezes). Micro-stuttering is still an issue (at least for me) when using rod stands. They don't fix bugs and don't optimize performance issues. They did promise updates, though! Just look at the Store Page: "Enjoy seasonal events and free updates." It is very misleading to state that they never promised new content, when they literally did so on the Store Page since day 1. So one find yourself in a situation that you simply don't know where you stand and what their plans are for the game going forward. They don't answer questions and they don't give info. They don't interact with the community at all. Other big problem is no communication from Big Ben. As the above poster stated you have way more freedom and a way better economy here.īut the game needs to be maintained with bug fixing, that is the issue I have. Other than the new content, this version is far superior over the F2P version. There is plenty of bugs, but they don't care about it to fix the game. That is the issue I have with this game at the moment. The problem is that we are not getting any bug fixes.
